Double-bend necks hide corrosion in the crook. We clean, measure remaining wall, and restem. We will not flatten a plumber into a slant because a video said it would start the ball better.
Putter hosel
A neck is a small bore with no patience
Putter joints fail with a tick, not a click you can hear from the next tee. Wet greens at Azalea City, a bag that sat in a salt trunk, a plumber’s neck that took one too many hot pulls — that is the work. We reseat what you already play.
Slant
Slant necks tell on themselves when the hosel bore goes oval from a short tip. Recut if there is meat. If a previous grind already thinned it, we stop.
Flow-neck
Flow-necks carry a longer weld story. We restem; we do not invent a new weld. If the neck is cracked, that is a different craftsman than Suite 4.
Putter Neck is $210 when the job is a restem. Photos of a tick are not enough — bring the putter. Saturday collars do not include putter pours.
